Working Process

We put all our experience and knowledge at the service of our clients, from the early conception stages of a master plan to the staging of the events or the improvement of existing circuits, either in facilities or management
- Stage 1 PROJECT DEFINITION
- Stage 2 TENDER PROCESS
- Stage 3 CONSTRUCTION FOLLOW UP
- Stage 4 INITIAL MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION
- Stage 5 CIRCUIT SET UP
- Stage 6 HOMOLOGATION
- Stage 7 CIRCUIT MANAGEMENT

Stage 1
Project definition
- Definition of a master plan for new circuits and homologation design
- - Every project is unique. The master plan is the starting point for a successful racetrack and it is essential to start understanding the definition of the Project from two key elements: the costs for the construction and the operation of the facility.
- - We offer an all-around service, together with the client, designing the major elements and key aspects of the Project, according to circuit standards, regulations, sustainability, functionality, local needs and budget.
- - Support in land location is also one of the main aspects where RacingLoop can assist for a successful Project
- - Creating a circuit layout, which should be not only be attractive for circuit users, but also efficient in all aspects.
- - We can provide 3D renders of how circuit will look like, once the master plan is finished.
- Improvement of existing circuits
- - There is always room for improvement in a circuit and it must be up to date, specially in order to renew the homologations.
- - Working in an existing track is not the same as designing a new circuit. Sometimes racetracks need to work on improvements on the existing layout, new buildings, make changes in the existing facilities or upgrade the homologation level. Our experience in managing racetracks is really useful to help our clients, finding the best solutions to achieve the objectives.
- Circuit simulations & Safety and risk analysis (software)
- - We can simulate with advanced software every situation in every circuit. Foreseen riders’ falls, or drivers’ incidents in a specific turn is necessary. Using our software tools, we may estimate, considering different parameters, including speed and different types of surface, how many meters are needed for run off areas until the first line of protection. This is really a useful tool either in new projects or for the improvement of existing tracks.
- - Safety of racetrack users, marshals and spectators is one of the main concerns and a priority. It is crucial to be accurate in the definition at early stages of the track design, so any improvement in run off areas, protections or track design, can be identified in advance, without causing big costs after construction is finished.
- Project feasibility
- - We look after our clients, and profitability is a key aspect when planning a circuit. Defining every space and area, according to present and possible future needs will help to run the facility in an efficient way.
- - After years managing circuits, we share our knowledge in costs and potential incomes of running and maintaining a racetrack or organizing events. This is an important step to succeed together.

Stage 2
Support in tender process - Construction and engineer company selection
- - The construction company is a key partner and it must make the perfect match with RacingLoop and the client.
- - In order to choose the best partners, RacingLoop supports the client all over the tender process of getting the right construction company. Guidance from a motorsport point of view is really important at this stage to avoid extra future costs
- - Based on our experience, race electronics and track lightning design, if needed, are also part of our scope of work.

Stage 3
Construction follow up
- Guidance and supervision with construction companies from the motorsport point of view
- - We work along with construction companies including regular site visits, taking care of all the motorsport related details during the construction process, because the circuit has to be homologated by FIA, FIM or CIK-FIA.
- - Supervising all these details during the construction process saves time and expenses.

Stage 4
Initial management implementation
- Strategic plan implementation
- - We have been managing racetracks for more than 15 years, so we know what kind of actions may work in a specific area or kind of circuit. We develop, together with the client, a custom-made strategic plan for every circuit, that helps the management to be more profitable, sustainable and get a bigger circuit exposure.
- - Relationship with governments and local authorities is something to be done before the circuit starts operating. Our experience in this field helps the clients in this aspect.
- Specific staff & professional training for all departments & areas (both for events and day by day activity)
- - “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”. Bearing in mind this principle, it is crucial to have a strong and competitive team managing the circuit, ready to learn all the necessary aspects of circuit management.
- - We have specialists in every area with a lot of experience in motorsport, who will teach and support every member of the organization.
- - Areas:
- General management
- Sports area
- Marshals
- Motorsport Medical services
- Exploitation & Commercial
- Marketing
- Media Communications
- Parking areas & Traffic management
- Circuit Security
- Public areas management
- Maintenance & Operations

Stage 5
Circuit set up
- Support to set up the circuit and all necessary equipment, according to international standards and operational needs.
- - To get the homologation and start operating as a racetrack, it is necessary to have certain equipment (for marshals, medical centre, etc). Our specialists in each area will help and support the circuit staff to get the ideal equipment for the facility.

Stage 6
Homologation
- Contact with federations (FIM, FIA and CIK-FIA)
- - We are up to date with motorsport regulations and have permanent contact with International Federations (FIA, FIM and CIK-FIA). These organizations have to homologate the circuit, so it can operate and host international events. The facility has to fulfil all their requirements.
- - We will take care of the entire homologation process, together with the client, preparing the Circuit Dossier and following up until the homologation site inspection.
- - RacingLoop team members are in possession of the relevant FIM and FIA international licenses necessary to fulfil sportive requirements of event organization, together with the fact of guaranteeing that our knowledge is up to date with regards to the international regulations that run our sport.

Stage 7
Circuit management
- Support in facility management
- - Years of experience in managing racetracks is our strong point. We support our clients in their facility management, putting all our experience at their service in all areas, either in existing or new racetracks.
- Support in events management
- - Our team has organized dozens of marketing events and international presentations, as well as more than 500 motorsport events of a wide variety of disciplines. Among them, more than 50 MotoGP races (with various awards as best GP of the year), several full seasons of World Superbikes Championship, 9 World Series by Renault, various CIK-FIA International Karting events and several International Raids.
- - As disciplines we have worked in, we can highlight:
- Road racing (car, bikes and trucks)
- Karting
- Test facilities
- Drifting
- 4 x 4
- Autocross
- Ice racing
- Supermoto
- Enduro
- Raids
- Dirt track / flat track
- Motocross
- Trial
- Rallies
- - We can integrate our expert team in the organization of any international event. These kinds of events are multi-stakeholder projects and they require a big planning work in advance.
- - The circuit, the region and the country, get a huge exposure with international motorsport events, so every detail is extremely important.
- Contact with race promoters
- - After more than 25 years in the business, knowing the key people is really an important factor that RacingLoop puts at the service of the clients.
- We know the main promoters of international series and, together with the client, we can approach and assist in negotiations.
